Last Autumn I made a tulle wreath and had SO much fun with it, I knew Id have to make another wreath this year. Im defeated by this little girls hair. Its curly, but not ALL curly, is in her eyes all the time, and is basically unmanageable. I could cut bangs and that would help a little bit, but the last time I cut bangs for her they didnt cooperate and didnt look that great. What I want is for it all to grow out now! Its all different lengths, too. I try to keep it up either in a ponytail or pigtails and it looks fine that way, but anyone who has been the mother of a toddler or preschooler knows they dont like to keep things in their hair, especially if they know you want it there! I love that its so easy these days to upload our favorite photos and create photo books, prints, cards, calendars, and many more things that showcase our memories in a special way. Since my parents found this tricycle for $5.00 at a garage sale (bless those people who sold it!), Emma has been in heaven. She absolutely loves her new bike and asks every day to ride it. Shes quite good at it, too, I might add! We already have plans to get her a small bicycle with training wheels for Christmas. I cant wait! Its really um, jarring seeing my baby girl riding a bike and being so independent. When did this growing up thing happen? *sigh* When did your little one get his or her first bike?
Infantino has just released a brand new product especially designed (in collaboration with Pediatric Occupational Therapists) to make tummy time more pleasant for babies the Right Angle Tummy Triangle! As a mom of two infants who absolutely hated tummy time, I think this is a great idea! This is a great hands-on preschool activity! It shows children exactly how an egg hatches and only takes three days. We used this package from ToySmith (which just happens to be on sale at Amazon.com for under $3.00!): Day 1 This definitely teaches a bit of patience. Having to wait for the egg to hatch without touching and playing with it was torture for Emma! Day 2 But the second morning we awakened to this: Oh the excitement! Then his little head peeked out. Emma watched his progress with deep interest and devotion. Day 3 We were able to help him come out of his shell on the third morning! I am SO excited about this review. Ive owned this amazing 3-in-1 stroller for two weeks and it has surpassed every expectation I could possibly have had for it! I actually had this stroller recommended to me by a very wise and super nice Joovy representative (Pam) after I explained what I wanted in a stroller. I say cute although Im not entirely sure I want to pay for clothing that has spilled food designs on it! Im pretty sure I could make my own. 😉 Whoever thought this up was super creative, though!
