Holidays and Fitness? Um… (Yummy recipe, too!)

Its been awhile sinceIve participated in Fitness Friday, but I miss it! And I miss the wonderful Wii Mommies, too. They were my inspiration way back when I first bought Wii Fit (and then my beloved EA Sports Active) and discovered how FUN getting fit using the Wii could be. They are a wonderfulonline fitness community to be a part of, too! They now have a Ning Community you can be a part of I highly recommend checking it out. You dont have to be a mommy, either. Anyone who wants to get fit using the Wii can join. 🙂 They also have awesome contests and competitions all the time that are SO much fun! Definitely worth joining. What Ive been up to Well, now is kind of the wrong time to be telling you about my fitness regime because at the moment I have pretty much NO motivation to…

Seafood and Pregnancy: What is Safe? What are the Benefits?

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of HealthyTuna.com. All opinions are 100% mine. I am a seafood-lover. Especially when it involves pasta like Olive Gardens Seafood Alfredo, a yumminess that cannot be surpassed by any home recipe I have tried. But when I became pregnant and read (pretty much everywhere) that certain seafoods could be dangerous for your unborn baby, I decided to stay on the safe side and not eat any seafood. But was I being over-cautious? Lets do a little research. According to the American Pregnancy Association, women who are pregnant should avoid fish high in mercury, including shark, mackerel, swordfish, tilefish, grouper, and marlin. Not exactly the types of fish you find in regular restaurants. I mean, Im not going to be ordering shark anytime soon or ever. lol The following seafood you can eat a few times a month (the American Pregnancy…

MyHairStylingTools.com Karmin G3 Pro Flat Iron ♥ Review and Giveaway

The day I discovered the power of the flat iron was the day my bad hair days became almost nonexistent. I say almost because there are still bad hair days, but wielding my flat iron generally takes care of the problem. Im a girl who has strange hair its frizzy, curly, wavy, wonky, and frustrating. Oh, and it is allergic to damp weather were talking instant PUFF. So of course I move to a state where it rains 29 days of the month on average. *huff* I think most people start cheap, and thats what I did when I bought my first flat iron. I found cheap, just to see how it worked. Its not really a good idea, because not all hair straighteners work well, and it can make you think that it isnt for you, that your hair will never look sleek or smooth. *insert sniff and sigh*…

MySims Agents Wii Game Review

Ive been on the fence about Sims games since they came out and I first played The Sims on my PC. I quickly was drawn in and played it way too much for about a week or two, but eventually life (real life, lol) distracted me from the game. I dont have the game anymore (it was actually my sisters). Fast forward to now. I havent played much in the way of simulation games in awhile, and wouldnt have thought I had time. But when EA Games asked me if I wanted to review MySims Agents, I agreed wholeheartedly. Im a gamer mom through and through, and writing game reviews is so much fun for me almost as fun as playing them! The ExperienceIt took me about five minutes to become completely immersed. I. Love. This. Game! Its nothing like what I expected it takes a lot of brain work…

This is my first one, and I was initially inspired by this awesome site, Red Velvet Art. They dont have them anymore, but I came across a collage pregnancy journal they designed that I absolutely loved! It…
