Ive been sick all week and since moving to WordPress have done nothing but computer-related stuff, so crafting has kind of gone out the window for now. 😉 I wanted to share a couple of quick photography tips, though! Im still a beginner myself, but Ive learned a few things by reading photography blogs (I Heart Faces is awesome) and playing around with my camera endlessly. My husband complains that Im taking photos all of the time, and its true! Ive caught some beauties by accident that way, too. So Tip #1 Take a lot of photos, and dont be discouraged if you think youre not getting any good ones. The nice thing about digital cameras is that photos are easy to delete, but dont be too quick with the delete button! I thought nothing could improve my beloved EA Sports Active Wii game/personal fitness trainer. I absolutely loved it and was very happy with my new-found energy when I would push myself to work out regularly. As the mommy of a very energetic toddler who manages to find mischief to get into 24/7, I needed an outlet. Something besides blogging, which may be fun but doesnt help at all in the way of maintaining fitness. 😉 EA Sports Active really fit well into my lifestyle its not like I can just run down to the gym whenever I feel like it. Id have to detach a toddler from my leg and find a babysitter (um, no) or wait for my husband to get home from work (and he is right in the middle of obtaining his bachelors, so time is sacred, lol). I hate working out in front of people, anyway….

Players are given the ability to help take care of the animals of Africa, make friends with them, and maintain their lands. My Thoughts SimAnimals Africa is a game that I think kids will really love. Its quick and easy to master the controls and objectives, and players are given new abilities and goals as they play. The graphics are whimsical and engaging, and there are many ways to interact with everything around you, from the animals to the landscape. We had a lovely Christmas. One of the most entertaining parts was watching Emma open presents. 😉 I couldnt help but laugh because every time someone handed her a present she would try to give it to me to unwrap for her. I would hand it back and have to show her how to rip it open, can you believe it? Suddenly she became shy about ripping up paper. Yeah, this is the child that rips up my books, doesnt hesitate to tear paper she finds to shreds for mere amusements sake, pop-up books last all of two seconds around her, but she turns all shrinking violet when someone hands her a gift and tells her to rip it open! lol Who, me? Are you ready? Christmas is almost here! Are you the last-minute type who is still getting presents wrapped or maybe even buying/making them today? I am. 😉 I was still crocheting a scarf yesterday and thankfully I finished it on time. We also worked on other various handmade gifts and, Ill tell you, it is SO much more fun making gifts than buying them! Especially when it involves kids.
