Merry Christmas! Are you ready?

Are you ready? Christmas is almost here! Are you the last-minute type who is still getting presents wrapped or maybe even buying/making them today?

I am. 😉

I was still crocheting a scarf yesterday and thankfully I finished it on time. We also worked on other various handmade gifts and, Ill tell you, it is SO much more fun making gifts than buying them! Especially when it involves kids. Emma got to do some fingerpainting and loved it. 🙂 Ill share some of our projects on the Monday Creative Moms Blog Hop.

Anyway, Im pretty much ready were visiting some of my husbands family today and going to a Christmas Eve church service tonight, then spending Christmas day with my family. A lot of driving, but itll be worth it. At least we have the weekend to recuperate. 🙂 My husband was super super helpful in getting the house nice and clean and decluttered so that we could really enjoy the holidays. Im very thankful for that. I have some stuff to wrap still and I have some Christmas candy to make for tomorrow, then its time to enjoy! Im looking forward to it.

Oh, what are your Christmas morning plans? We are planning on incorporating the Christmas story from the bible into our morning after opening presents (or before, we havent actually figured that out yet).

Speaking of the Christmas story, I have a special surprise for you! Tyndale has prepared a holiday download for you: Singer/songwriter Matthew West reading from Luke 2! Click here to download and listen to the Christmas story free online.

Oh, and heres a fun printable nativity coloring page for your kids. 🙂 Click on it to make it large enough to print!

Hope you all enjoy your holidays!
