Theres nothing I love more than playing with my photos, making them prettier, making them into works of art. So when Corel asked me if I would like to try their Paint It! software, I jumped at the chance! Not only is Corel a favorite brand, I love that this particular program turns your photos into paintings right before your eyes! My Experience with Paint It! Ive fallen absolutely in love with these unique handmade wooden block sets handcrafted by mom Brooke of Magens Bay! Well, I went in for my 20-week ultrasound today. I was so excited about it all week I could barely focus on any task and last night I didnt sleep well. Okay, part of that was heartburn. But I have been looking forward to finding out whether were having a girl or a boy for a long time! And today I finally found out. A boy! 🙂 I was kind of in shock at first. I know nothing about boys and was finding it easier to imagine carrying another girl than a little boy. I grew up with one sister and didnt have a lot of friends who were boys so I feel completely clueless. Will they enjoy playing together? I have a lot of questions and Im sure theyll be answered as time goes on. Im now thinking happily about all of the cute boy fabrics I need to…

Im pretty sure Im even more delighted than my 2-year-old when I read them and thats saying something since Emma is always dragging them over to me to be read to her. Here are some of their recently published books for children and my thoughts on them: Dotty Written by Erica S. Pearl, Illustrated by Julia Denos Dotty is such a sweet, imaginative book.
