When Im trying to sleep? Someone must have a good explanation or theory. One of my pregnant friends in the same situation said she thinks its because she hasnt eaten in awhile and the baby wants to eat. I dont think this is my case since I dont usually let myself go to bed hungry Of course Im glad to feel him moving, too. Its always a good sign! I just looked this up and read that it might be because I lull him to sleep with my movements during the day. Hm, no way to fix that! Ill just enjoy the now SILENT companionship of my baby boy for now and remember that soon hell be wiggling and squealing, keeping me up at night for real! I cant wait. 🙂
Ive been crafty again and having fun with it! Am I the only one who is crafty in spurts? For about two weeks I didnt do anything mainly because I was in shock over finding out Im carrying a boy I think. LOL Finally, Saturday I was inspired by a fellow blogger, Michelle of Land of the Misfit Toyz, who used a glue gun to make these fabulous fabric bows: A glue gun! I love her ingenuity. And I LOVE simple yet rewarding projects like this. Michelles step by step tutorial can be found here. So heres what I came up with for my first attempt: I need to practice the technique to improve it, but I love it! And it was a great way to use those resins, too. 🙂 Next, it was time to make a hairbow holder. I was fed up with all of our bows and…
There are so many options nowadays for keeping your babys sleep time safe and comfortable its wonderful! We know that the safest ways to put our babies to bed is on their backs, and that were not supposed to leave stuffed animals or loose blankets in the crib with them. But how else can we keep them warm and secure all night? This is why sleep sacks, swaddlers, and breathable fabrics were invented. I didnt think there was any way to improve these great baby bedtime products, but SootheTime has done it with their Sleep Stabilizers, which keep baby in position on his or her back all night. SootheTime Products: Snooze Wrap Snooze Sack (Stage 1 & 2) Snooze Sheet (Crib/Playard) Sleepzies (Onesies) A Moms Thoughts: Thanks to SootheTime, I received three of their products for review: The Snooze Wrap Plus, Stage 2 Snooze Sack, and Crib Snooze Sheet. Snooze…

I love hats. Im naturally drawn to them in stores and find myself trying them on and peeking in a mirror to see if it looks good or not. There are just so many different styles of hats one cannot have too many in my opinion. When my daughter was born, I was in heaven. A little girl I could buy hats galore for! And believe me, she looks good in them. 😉 And loves them. So I continue to buy them. When my dear husband raises his eyebrows, I tell him her head has grown (true) and that she needs another one to protect her little ears from cold or keep her from being sunburned. Perhaps we could pick a hat or two up for me as well? 😉 No, I cannot use the growing head excuse (thankfully). Since Im an avid online shopper, Im always on the lookout…
Giveaway made possible thanks to Cambridge PR and Boston Ford. Road trips bring both sweet and bitter memories to my mind. When Emma was 1 1/2, we drove for 13 hours straight to visit my husbands family. We tried to be prepared but I went into it blindly having never been on a road trip with a toddler before. I brought plenty of wipes, changes of clothing, toys for Emma, and snacks. I was armed and ready or so I thought. It ended up being rather stressful, and I got a crick in my neck trying to comfort her and keep her occupied (next time I should just sit in the backseat with her!). And she got car sick. Oh that was not fun. If I were to take her on a road trip now, I would have to bring fun new toys, games, and snacks to occupy my now-2-year-old,…
Pregnancy is considered beautiful, but sometimes it doesnt feel beautiful. I believe that you should have at least one pretty outfit or nightgown you know, something that flatters and doesnt make you look like youre just plain huge! Today I would like to introduce you to Passion Spice. I love their selection of adorable nursing bras (with and without underwire) and maternity lingerie. Everything is cute, fun, and this is very important affordable! Thanks to Passion Spice, I was sent one of their maternity babydolls to review. There are two different babydolls and one camisole available, each a different attractive lingerie style. The one that I received is pretty, comfortable, and soft and satiny. Its also adjustable, a definite plus as our bodies grow and change quickly in pregnancy. I like that I will also still be able to wear it after the baby comes, too! I love what I…
When Emma was about 6 months old, I started teaching her to sign. I found some signing DVDs especially for children at the library and began watching them with her in this way we both started to learn basic sign language , especially signs appropriate for babies like eat, milk, and all done. Emma absolutely LOVED the DVDs! They are full of fun with singing and signing babies and children. I loved the DVDs because they were teaching us both something we would be able to use to communicate. Now Emma is 2 years old and were thinking potty training. I have a second baby on the way and I really dont want to be dealing with two sets of diapers. So when Baby Signs agreed to let me test and review their Potty Signs Kit, I was excited! Emma signed for a long time and loved the DVDs, so…
