Make Your Own No-Sew Tutu! (Miss Tutu DVD Course!)

Guess what I did this week? I made my very first tutu, and it looks GREAT! I honestly cant believe I made it, its sooo nice. Although I consider myself a crafty girl, I hadnt tackled this project yet because it looked a bit overwhelming. I wasnt sure what was involved, and besides it had to be tough to make I mean, people sell tutus for $40-60 (or more)! Youll probably be surprised to find out that it cost me less than $10.00 to make my first tutu. And I honestly like it better than any Ive purchased. Crazy, right? Well, I cant recommend making your own tutu more! If youre like me and do better with someone showing you how to make something rather than reading directions online or in a book, you should check out MissTutu.com. Shell send you a DVD with step-by-step video instructions showing you how…

“Meet Pocoyo!” is a Definite Toddler Favorite!

What baby or toddler wouldnt fall in love with these characters, right? I knew before I even previewed Pocoyo on YouTube that my 2-year-old daughter would love them. Meet Pocoyo! on DVD is super cute, the graphics pop, and the sound effects keep a little ones attention. But dont take my word for it, watch it for yourself and let me know what you think: About the DVD: (From the back cover) Meet Pocoyo, the unforgettable little boy with a very big personality! Seasonal Crafting With Emma (WW)

Crafting with a two-year-old is a lot of work, but fun. 🙂 Emma created this wreath over two days due to a very short attention span. This was a quick and easy way to do it I found printable leaves online, printed them out for her, then let her color them (okay, I helped a little). I cut them out for her. The next day she glued them onto a round Pooh coloring page with a glue stick that she did NOT want to let go of. Glue everywhere! To simplify this project, you can buy leaves already cut out and that look real at Michaels for 99 cents for a bag, and maybe use glue dots. This was fun for us, though. 🙂 Cant wait for more holiday crafting! Im so glad shes old enough to get into this stuff now. What kinds of projects are you doing with…

Everly Grey: Classy Contemporary Maternity & Nursing Clothing

Everly Grey was created in 2009 out of a deep love and appreciation for fashion in particular, the maternity genre. (As seen in Pregnancy and NewbornMagazine!) Its a challenge to find anything in my closet nowadays that makes me feel sophisticated and fashionable. I know the size of my stomach huge! Actually, its not just my stomach that has grown, either. But you can pretend you dont notice, Im okay with that. 😉 Thanks to Everly Grey, I have a new confidence in my appearance. Their Chelsea top, a black maternity turtleneck, is beautiful and so comfortable its my favorite Fall/Winter long-sleeved top in my closet by far because it makes me feel like a million bucks! I think that even if you arent a turtleneck fan in general this top would change your mind. Made of 95% rayon and 5% spandex, this top is super soft, has a bit…

Halloween Decor Inspiration – I’m getting creative this year!

Im going to Michaels with a couple crafty girlfriends on Tuesday and Im SO excited. Without kids. Were going without kids. Aiieeeeeeee! You know what that means, right? I can look to my hearts content. I can walk up and down every aisle. I can FOCUS! HEAVEN! I should probably make a list so that I dont forget something I may never get a chance like this again. 😉 So Ive been looking for inspiration online (does anyone buy craft magazines anymore?) and have found so many great projects, I only am sad that I cannot do it all. I dont want to draw too much attention to myself dont want to be that overdecorated house lol. I just want to give my place some character. And I dont really want scary, either. I would like to make something similar to these projects that can be used for Autumn decor…
