When my first baby was born in 2008, I nursed exclusively and used disposable nursing pads. I had two pairs of washable cotton nursing pads that I never actually tried because I really didnt want to the disposables are convenient! But after Isaac was born in January of this year, I decided to try the reusable kind. I was going through the disposables entirely too fast and they are really expensive when you have to buy a box every two weeks or less. So I decided to try making my own. Emma isnt a toddler anymore shes a little girl! I have such mixed feelings about this. Shes getting more independent all the time, wanting to make her own decisions, talking more and having conversations with us, not melting down like she did as a toddler, and wanting to help with everything. 🙂 Shes compassionate and sweet and funny, and really a joy to have around shes not a little baby anymore! When I try to remember what she was like as a baby its all so dim, I cant remember what I want to. Im thankful to have pictures and videos, though. Seriously, this has been a big issue for us for the past year. I told myself that at 2 I would take Emmas pacifier away and her birthday came and I wimped out. She was only 2, right? Do you remember this story? In 2009, Carolyn Savage underwent fertility treatments and IVF. There was a mix-up at the hospital and the wrong fertilized embryo was implanted in her.
