That Famous Cat and Mouse… Tom and Jerry! {DVD Review}

I grew up laughing at the antics of Tom and Jerry no matter how hard that wily cat tries to catch that mouse it seems like hes always thwarted in some way. When I found out that the cartoons were being released in a series of DVDs, I was delighted! I wanted to introduce my almost 3-year-old to these characters and see if she likes them as much as I did as a child. And I wasnt disappointed within 5 minutes, she was giggling at the silliness. When the DVD had run through all of the episodes, she asked me to put it on again! Id say that she definitely loves Tom and Jerry as much as I did when I was little.

In Tom and Jerry: Fur Flying Adventures, our favorite dueling duo travels through time in Guided Mouse-ille, to Europe in Neapolitan Mouse and into outer space on O-Solar-Meow. Its two against one when Toms scaredy-cat cousin George comes to town in Timid Tabby. Jerry comes up on top time and again in Pet Peeve, Thats My Mommy and Robin Hoodwinked. Other featured shorts include Barbecue Brawl, Happy go Ducky, Hic-cup Pup, Little Quacker, Rock N Rodent, Pup on a Picnic and The Vanishing Duck.

There are fourteen episodes on this DVD 93 minutes of fun! Emma requests it every time I turn the TV on and weve watched it no less than 20 times in the last week. Thankfully, this is one cartoon I dont mind watching over and over because I love it, too. 🙂 If youre a fan of Tom and Jerry, classic cartoons in general, or funny slapstick type animated cartoons, youll love this!
