Scholastic Storybook Treasures DVDs – Definitely Add These to Your Christmas Wishlist!

Emma (almost 3) and I have been watching Scholastic Storybook Treasures DVDs from the Adventures at School and Treasury of 100 Storybook Classics 2 boxed sets ALL week and were enjoying them immensely! I tried to introduce her to these before but she didnt show a lot of interest, I think she was just a little too young. But now were discovering new stories and characters, and shes asking to watch many of them over and over.

I, as a mommy, am delighted. Why? Because Scholastic Storybook Treasures DVDs from NewKideo.com arent just cartoons theyre animated classics from storybooks that I remember reading as a child. Stories like Corduroy, The Ugly Duckling, Ralph S. Mouse, and even fairy tales are brought to life. Even I enjoy sitting and watching them with Emma.

Another thing that makes these animated stories unique is that theyre read in their entirety. Its like watching a book, the original illustrations coming to life on the TV. And you can add the optional read-along words at the bottom of the screen, too! The people who read each story are different, and very talented many of them are celebrities in some form or another such as Thora Birch and Mia Farrow. I havent been unhappy with a narrator yet!

Final Thoughts: Im looking forward to collecting all of the Scholastic Storybook Treasures DVDs they provide so many hours of great stories! The sets make terrific gifts, too. And I love that they are available in various sized box sets so that you can purchase favorites. Recommended for ages 3-9.
