How CUTE is this little girl and that sweet summer dress?

(Okay, I might be a little biased about the little girl since shes mine. 😉

Im so glad that the weather is warming up it means dresses and skirts and cute sandals again! As usual Ive been browsing Etsy for handmade dresses and little girl accessories and have come upon a gem of a shop called Practical Inspirations Ill be watching this shop from now on for sure! Its mom-owned and everything in the shop is mom-made. 😉 Right now Kim (the mom behind Practical Inspirations) makes and sells cute dresses like the one Emma is wearing in the picture above AND these sweet Feel and Learn Texture Books:

Cute, right? Can you believe all of the work she puts into these? Talk about a wonderful keepsake. 🙂 (And something my baby cant chew up, haha.)

Practical Inspirations Summer Dress Review:

Kim was awesome enough to send me a dress from her store so that I could share my thoughts on it with you! She has several different dresses available right now, same style but different fabric combinations. Some look a little more modern in color and pattern and others have a sweet old-fashioned look. I went for the brightest colors possible for Emma because she can totally pull them off, and wasnt disappointed! Just look:

One of the most important things to me when purchasing a dress for my daughter is the comfort level will she play for hours in it or be complaining about a tag, tightness, or a bow that keeps coming untied? This dress totally passed the comfort test and didnt hinder her playing or cause any annoyance whatever! It is also nicely made (the inside of the dress is completely finished no fraying edges or strings) and well-designed. The top back of the dress is lined with elastic so theres a bit of stretch and growing room. I love that because most of the time our dresses have to be given away once they start getting tight under the arms. Anything that gives us longer wear makes me happy. 🙂

The shape of the dress is also totally cute, as seen in the photos. Its simple but oh-so-cute! The fit is a little bit big but since the dress is one-size (for 2T, 3T, and 4T) that is expected. Emma is normally in 3T and can fit in some 2T clothes. Kim puts the measurements of the dress in the description so you can always measure before buying to be sure the fit is where you want it.

So, would I recommend Practical Inspirations to other mommies? Definitely! I think the pictures speak for themselves when it comes to the way the dresses fit and look, and Im very happy with the quality, too. And at 15.99, the price is very reasonable for each dress.
