Our Version of Cinderella’s Carriage Pumpkin

I really am not that into Halloween, but I cant resist the carving of the pumpkins! On Saturday, I requested that my husband carve our pumpkin, but I wanted something a little more elaborate than last years funny face. I was inspired by the carriage pumpkin lantern found via Pinterest (of course) at Create With Your Hands.

When I pulled the picture up and told my honey that I want this, he said, Are you kidding? But, being the wonderful person he is, he gave it a try for me. Of course he was perfectly capable of doing it!

Then came the painting, Emmas favorite part. 🙂

This painting is serious business!

Next came the glitter. We love the final product!
I used our painted mini pumpkins for wheels and gave Emmas Breyer horse the job of pulling this fancy carriage.

The nice thing is that Cinderella doesnt have to worry about it turning into a pumpkin it already is a pumpkin! 😉
