Our Holiday Photo Cards This Year… and a Journal! (Minted Review)

Photo cards are sooo easy to make nowadays its just a matter of uploading your photo! Last year I ordered my Christmas cards from Minted and was so happy with them that this year I decided to do the same. This year, Minted has a super cool tool that makes finding your perfect holiday card such a quick and simple job. With Find it Fast, you can see what your photo will look like in hundreds of designs just scroll through them to find the right one!

How it works

Creating your card is super easy, and I love that there are so many ways to customize colors, fonts, card style, photo layout but you can keep it simple if you need, too. Heres how the card looks when youre ordering, with a couple of other color options:

You can move the photo around on the card, edit the photo, and change the text to whatever you want (except for the Merry Christmas, but there are other layouts that allow you to change the greeting).

I used backers this year and it saved me having to write out a greeting. Very cool!

The photo I used is a little bit blurry because I insisted on using one that I took with my cell phone. But I love it so much! After uploading and ordering, if there are any problems with resolution, they do email you and give you a chance to replace your photo with a better resolution or different photo, but I really wanted this one. They also send you a digital proof so you can see what it will look like in print. Its really helpful, and a great service!

The journals are fully customizable and they also have photo journals that feature designs showcasing your photo on the cover. I, however, fell in love with that little fox design as soon as I saw it. I did put a photo on the inside that I like, though (me on my horse when I was 19). And I included a quote from my favorite book series, Anne of Green Gables. It turned out so nice!

The photo cards at Minted are high quality and were shipped out quickly Im so happy with my experience (again)! The journals would make great gifts I know I would have loved a personalized one when I was a teen. I was always scribbling away in a journal, and still have a love of blank notebooks and journals waiting to be filled with thoughts.
