Today Im excited to present you with a Christmas craft tutorial! Im ready for Christmas, how about you? Im not quite ready to put my Christmas tree up, but when it comes to holiday crafts and presentations Im there! This particular project is something you can do whether you consider yourself crafty or not and its easy enough to do with your kids!

A Christmas tree display like this one, with scrapbook paper cone trees. 🙂

What Youll Need

Supplies:

• Pretty scrapbook paper (It can be Christmas-themed or not)
• Double-sided Scotch tape
• Scissors

Note: I used the heavier card stock type scrapbook paper that you get in themed stacks (heres the one I used) because I wanted these to be able to withstand toddler assault. And they have done well! Emma insists that these are hats and will not leave them alone. But thats okay, its part of the fun. 🙂 And I can always make more, right?

The How-To

1. Turn your paper at an angle and cut a semi-circle as seen below.

2. This part takes a bit of patience to get it right but once you figure it out, its easy. Place some double-sided tape on one of the straight inside edges of the semi-circle. Then shape the paper into a cone with the curved part of the paper being the base of the tree.

You could also use a glue gun, but I wanted this project to be kid-friendly so my toddler could help. 🙂
