A Very Extremely Exciting Charlie and Lola Giveaway! (Closed)

Now I dont look like I have twigs and chirrupy birds in my hair, Charlie!

So says Lola after a dreaded (but successful) haircut. How cute is that?

I absolutely LOVE Charlie and Lola, my friends. And so does my 3-year-old, though which one of us loves it more Im not entirely sure. It might be a tie. 😉

This show (and series of books!) is all about a wonderfully kind and patient big brother and his funny, super imaginative little sister. Does she get on his nerves? Of course, often. But I love the way problems are solved (usually in a comical way), and how much these kids love each other. One of the many reasons I love this series is the way these siblings treat other selflessly.

Another reason this is a favorite is the English accents. I love accents, and the way the kids talk just adds to the charm of the show. Lola has more than one thing she says that makes me smile, including very extremely, completely brilliant, and not ever never. I seriously never get tired of watching these shows.

So you can imagine my extreme excitement when I received a package for review that included a set of eight Charlie and Lola DVDs, a Charlie and Lola hardback book, Slightly Invisible, and a set of Charlie and Lola poseable talking dolls. I almost shrieked when I saw what was inside!

The dolls are soft and easily made to pose in any position Emmas heart desires. Squeeze Charlie and he says, I have this little sister, Lola. She is small and very funny. Lola says, I am not small. I am big!

The book, Slightly Invisible, was released in May. Lola keeps interrupting Charlie and Marv in their imaginary play. They have an invisibility potion that gives them the ability to see strange and amazing creatures. Though the older boys want to play alone, resourceful Lola finds a way to get involved along with her imaginary friend, Soren. We enjoyed this sweet story, the colorful illustrations, and of course the signature funky type fonts.

The DVD Box Set I received includes volumes 1-8, the complete first and second seasons. Each DVD is a little over an hour long and has fun, engaging special features. Youll love the stories!
