Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop Review (Giveaway Closed)

Get ready, youre about to hear me rave over a mop.

Before I was introduced to the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop, I had only experienced three types of mops:

1.The cheapie sponge mop. It doesnt seem to last longer than a week (if that) before it starts disintigrating and it never smells clean after the first time you use it.

2. The yarn mop. Heavy and a total pain to squeeze the water out of. Also never really feels sanitary.

3. The mop with disposable pads. I wont name the brand but it starts with an S. Mine was so flimsy it was hard to get in and scrub tough areas, and I hated the strong smell of the cleaner on the disposable pads.

Basically, my experience with mops has been disappointing. Until now, that is. Rubbermaid has actually made me WANT to clean my floors with their new Reveal Spray Mop! I absolutely love it! And believe me, Im not exactly the type of person to be excited about cleaning or cleaning products normally.

Why I Love the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop: The Specifics

Isnt it pretty? Its also hardy and durable, able to maneuver corners and get under things easily, and weighs only 2.2 pounds (with bottle empty).

The microfiber cleaning pads are washable up to 100 times and are said to pick up 50% more dirt and dust than regular mops! This I believe my floor has never been so clean! The pad is much more absorbent than the the mop I was using previously. Its awesome that I dont have to keep buying disposable pads, too! Definitely saving some money there.

My favorite feature, though? Its a spray mop, meaning that you fill the bottle with hot water, add your preferred cleaner (or just use water), and youre ready! Using the trigger on the handle, you spray water out of the front of the mop as you go. Youre always in control of how much water/cleaner youre using (yay, no more puddles of water!) and you can easily keep your mopping non-toxic! I love that I can put whatever I want in the water. Since Im an essential oil lover, I put lemon and lavender essential oils in mine. It made my kitchen smell SO good! So. Awesome.

My Experience:

Thanks to Rubbermaid, I received a Reveal Spray Mop kit to review. Heres everything I received: Instructions, two reusable water bottles, the mop in two pieces, and two reusable microfiber pads (three should come in the kit, though). Everything was super easy to put together the mop snaps together securely, the water bottle clicks into place without a hassle, and the microfiber pads are literally stick on and they stay! I am very pleased with the quality and the way it works to clean my floor. The spray is easy to direct and covers the entire width of the mop head, and it sprays evenly. Seriously, I have nothing to complain about. I really love this mop! If I had seen it at a friends house and tried it myself, I would have gone straight out and ordered, thinking nothing of the price tag of $40.00. Its that nice. And since you get the extra bottle and pads, its really a great value! Im extremely happy with it.

• Microfiber pads are reusable/washable up to 100 times (by hand or in the washer)
• Reveal Spray Mop can be used on any hard floors
• Trigger on handle sprays a little or a lot of water depending on the pressure you use
• Use your own cleaning solutions
• Your floors dry faster (Ive noticed this!)
