Latest Sewing Project: Soft Baby Blocks!

Heres my latest sewing project: soft baby blocks!

These were fun to make up, and it helped me to use up a scrap of striped flannel I wasnt sure what to do with. 🙂 These are made up of 6 squares sewn together in a cross shape and then sewn into a square. You can find a terrific tutorial here at Smile and Wave! I stuffed mine with polyfil only (and bells and crinkly paper for extra fun) but if you want them truly square and stackable, you need something stiff like cardboard on each side inside. Ill probably do that next time.

Isaac likes how soft and squishy these are, though. 🙂

Next up, Im attempting to make a soft scottie dog stuffed toy!
