What Its About:
The Doc Is InDoc McStuffins that is! Dottie Doc McStuffins is an amazing six-year-old girl who has a special secret. She has the ability to talk to toys and stuffed animals (and they talk back!). Doc also has a passion for helping others.

Along with her loyal and trusty team Hallie the hippo, Lambie the lamb, Stuffy the dragon, Chilly the snowman and Squeakers the fish she heals and tends to all the toys and stuffed animals that need help and fixes all the boo-boos that happen throughout the day! Whatever the problem, the Doc is always in, and everyone always gets better!

Our Take:

This was our first time watching Doc McStuffins since we dont have the Disney Channel, and after the first episode I could see why it is such a popular new TV show! Little Doc McStuffins is a girl with a desire to help others around her a little doctor in the making. The episodes themselves are entertaining, humorous, and imaginative which in itself makes for a great series, but what really drew me as a mom was the fact that some of the episodes are educational as well. For instance, the episode Engine Nine, Feelin Fine talks about the importance of not getting dehydrated. I think its cool that there is a series on TV that has health lessons in it, even if they dont always apply to us humans (like having too much cotton in our ears, ha!).

So what did Emma (4) think? She loved it! She could have watched the DVD straight through, all 10 stories, if I had let her. She pulled out her little play doctor set and her stuffed animals and began playing along with the show, it was really cute. Isaac (2) also enjoyed it, and when you watch the episode below youll understand why its really very visually appealing with bright colors, animal sound effects (one of the toys squeak as it hops from place to place), and the 3-D animation that is so popular nowadays.

Doc McStuffins is definitely recommended our family loves her!
