Birthdays, Babies, and Bibles

As I write this, Emma is grinning up at me from her bouncer next to my desk. A month ago she was sleeping from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. (with feeding and playing breaks) in her swing, but somewhere along the line she decided she didnt want to be sleeping the day away if she could possibly get me to bring her in the computer room with me. Sometimes she naps, sometimes she plays, sometimes she fusses. Uh oh, there went that smile now shes fussing for who knows what reason. Whatever it is, its a serious crisis. :-/

*A couple minutes later*

Well apparently she just needed her pacifier put back in her mouth so she could doze off again. Looks like mommy bored her to tears. 😉

So today is a special day Johns birthday! He had to work, of course. But I got up at 4:15 this morning with him and made him some hot tea (he likes one green tea bag and one black tea bag) in one of his birthday presents a travel mug with a picture of me and the baby on it. 🙂

Im planning on having a cake ready for him when he gets home and the house will be perfectly clean and the baby will be perfectly clean and not fussy and not spitting up on him yeah, Im still dreaming. lol Ill shoot for the cake, though. 😉 I found a recipe online Im going to try.

John had also requested an amplified bible for his birthday (a few months ago) so I found him a nice one and had his name put on it. I think hell like it. Well, I know he will since he already knows about it. *grumble* He got it out of me about two weeks ago. Why cant I just stand firm when it comes to that stuff? lol

Oh well, he doesnt know which one I got him wait till he finds out its pink!

Kidding. 😉

Well Id better get to work so I can take a break later and make him his cake. 🙂
